An interactive game on the Internet in which players create embryos

Exhibition from the MMSU collection “Where is this cloud flouting”, curated by Ksenija Orelj and Sabina Salamon. 14.6. – 25.8.2023. / MMSU Rijeka.

The web project, created in 1999, is based on an interactive game on the Internet in which players create their own virtual offspring, choosing between different genetically determined characteristics. The resulting embryos are displayed in the ’embryo gallery’, and all data is stored in the database. The second part consists in the comparison of the society of virtual people created by visitors, with the inhabitants of the “real” modern society.
